FIRECRACKER CHICKEN

This firecracker chicken recipe is chunks of crispy juicy chicken tossed in a sweet honey and spicy chili sauce.

Ingredients
4 pc chicken thigh cubed

1 pc beaten egg
​1/2 cup corn flour
​
Salt and pepper
​
1/2 cup chili sauce
​
1 cup
​
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
​
1 tspn chili flakes
​
Chopped spring onions
Instructions
1. Pre-heat the oven to 190 Centigrade.
​
2. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
​
3. Dip in beaten egg and toss in cornflour.
​
4. Quickly pan fry to seal and form a crispy skin.
Sauce
1. Combine the chili sauce, honey and chili flakes.
​
2. Spread the chicken onto a baking tray and cover with the sauce.
​
3. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, toss in the sauce half way through cooking.

4. Serve with steamed rice and sprinkle with spring onion.
